LoL-Apalooza: With Melissa Villasenor

LoL-Apalooza is the SSMF annual event at The Comedy Store! The star of America’s Got Talent, the beautiful and talented Melissa Villasenor, will be hosting her friends in this musical extravaganza and Comedy Store Tradition!

Melissa Villasenor: Melissa Villasenor is a stand-up comedian and voice impressionist. She grew up in Los Angeles and started stand up at 15 at Comedy Camp. She is a regular at the Comedy Store, Improv’s, and Comedy and Magic Club. Melissa did her first TV appearance doing her Ellen DeGeneres and Sarah Silverman impressions on Frank TV on TBS. She also was in the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival as part of the New Faces show in 2010. Recently she played a part as Nora Ephron on Fox’s “Family Guy” as well as various voices on Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time”. Melissa wrote and will star in her one woman show called, “I’m Not Myself”. You can catch Melissa perform and her many voices in stand-up shows all around!

Amir K: Amir K is one of the fastest rising young comedians in Los Angeles today. Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Southern California, his comedy is a hilarious blend of character work, storytelling and improvisation shaped by a multi-cultural upbringing. Amir has been featured on DFDTV’s live-laughs and recently won the 100 comic Ultimate Laff-Down XVIII stand-up competition in Orange County. Amir’s raw talent is showcased on a nightly basis at various venues including comedy clubs and playhouses in and around the Los Angeles area. Make sure to check out Amir’s SO FUNNY SUNDAYS show in the Main Room of World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood every other Sunday at 8:30pm.
