SSMF Presents A Sunset Strip Photo Exhibit Aug. 27
Sure the Sunset Strip Music Festival is about amazing performances by some of your favorite bands, but it is also a celebration of the entire Sunset Strip. It’s history and influence.
On Friday, August 27, SSMF will celebrate the photographers who have captured Sunset Strip moments over the past few years, from the social media “TweetCrawls” and behind-the-scenes photos to images from the 2009 and 2008 Sunset Strip Music Festival. The exhibit features the works of six local music and celebrity photographers: Erik Voake, Tim Gaylord, Andrew Herrold, Nate Christenson, Genie Sanchez and Wendy Gonzalez.
The event takes place from 7-11 p.m. at the Sunset (8570 Sunset Boulevard). Parking is available on site and beverages will be available.
Come down, see some art, listen to some music and be there to kick off the biggest weekend on The Strip! For more info, check out the Facebook Event Page. To see additional events and special promotions being offered on The Sunset Strip during the festival — including Karaoke Killed The Cat at The Comedy Store, whiskey dinner at The Den and food and drink specials — check out the Special Events section of the site.
