98.7-FM’s Rockstar Finals Live @ Key Club
After five semi-final showcases at Universal CityWalk, 98.7-FM’s Rockstar competition is coming to a head. Some of L.A.’s hottest home grown, unsigned bands have been competing, hoping to earn a spot at the finals competition set to be held at the Key Club, as part of the 2010 Sunset Strip Music Festival.
Winner of the Rockstar Finals will earn $10,000 and a smorgasbord of other helpful prizes, including meetings with labels, new gear, a professional photography session, legal counseling and a performance spot on the LA date of the 2011 Warped Tour; in other words, all the tools an unsigned band needs to “make that big leap.”
See who makes the final cut as the best of the best go note for note Saturday, Aug. 28 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Key Club.
